David McDougle

Pastor

David McDougle serves as the pastor of Mount Olivet Baptist Church. With more than 17 years of ministry experience, David brings a deep love for God, a passion for His Word, and a genuine heart for serving people.

David and his wife, Serena, moved to Fred in 2024 with their three dogs and are grateful to be part of the Mount Olivet family and the surrounding community. David loves the local church and is passionate about discipling people who will go on to make disciples. He seeks to minister with intentionality, passion, and care as he builds relationships and helps others grow in their faith.

Outside of ministry, David enjoys fishing, playing guitar, playing video games, and spending time with people. He loves many different styles of music, ranging from country and rock to worship music, with Phil Wickham being one of his favorite artists.

David is excited to serve alongside the people of Mount Olivet as we share the Gospel, strengthen the church, serve our community, and work together to expand the kingdom of God.

Skylin Carnahan

Ministry Assistant

Skylin Carnahan serves as our Ministry Assistant and has a heart for helping others and ministering to the people in our church and community. She is excited to use her gifts to support the ministries of the church, serve others, and help people feel welcomed and cared for.

Skylin and her husband, Chris, are the proud parents of Waylin and Liam. Some of her favorite things include baking, hosting friends and family, being a mom, and binge-watching a good Netflix series. She also enjoys listening to bands and artists such as Red, Skillet, and Solblaze Worship.

Above all, Skylin loves her family and is thankful for the opportunity to serve the Lord by helping our church minister to others.
